Our Mission

The purpose of our congregation is to witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ — sharing His love, hope, and salvation for the benefit of the world and to the glory of God. Everything we do as a church flows from this calling to be a faithful presence of Christ in our community and beyond.

We Believe

• Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God, and we proclaim Him as Lord and Savior.
• Freedom of Belief -- Each person should have the freedom and responsibility to study God's Word and follow their conscience, guided by the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and prayer. We are also expected to extend that freedom to others.
• Believer's Baptism -- In baptism, the old self-centered life is set aside, and a new life of trust in God begins. Although Disciples most commonly practice baptism by immersion, other baptism practices are honored.
• An Open Table -- The practice of weekly communion is central to our worship and is open to all Christians.
• Unity -- By God's grace and love made known in Jesus Christ, all are called to seek the unity of the church and oneness among all Christians in common witness and service to the world. We strive to cooperate and partner with other faith communities.
• Diversity -- Diversity should be embraced. We recognize that differences in belief and practice can enrich our understanding of faith.
